Brandon Stroud (ex Kouvot) signs at Airs

Taranaki Airs (NBL) signed 24-year-old American 198cm guard Brandon Stroud (college: S.Florida). He transferred from Kouvot in Finnish Korisliiga. In 23 games, he averaged an impressive 20.8ppg, 8.7rpg, 5.4apg, and 1.7spg last season.
Among many awards, his team won the AAC Regular Season in 2024. He was also named to the A-Sun All-Tournament Team and received the All-A-Sun Defensive Player of the Year award during his college time in 2023.
Stroud attended a camp at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
He graduated from the University of South Florida in 2025 and is in his first season in pro basketball. Stroud also played for Kennesaw State University for 3 years.
